ASEA-After School Program & Info
Our bus transportation is based on enrollment of students from each school. We currently run buses from Lake Norman Elementary, and Woodland Heights Elementary. We are hopeful this year the Iredell County School buses will transport to our academy from Middle and High Schools.
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM: GRADES: KINDERGARTEN THRU 5TH ONLY
TUTORING PROGRAM: GRADES: KINDERGARTEN THRU 12TH (ADULTS TOO)
SATISFACTION:
Is what our parents experience when they arrive each afternoon knowing their child has spent the afternoon in an environment that has been clean, safe and structured. Each parent is relieved in knowing that all homewok has been completed and checked daily, along with each child reading to our staff in our library on a daily basis.
OUR STRUCTURE AND STUDIOS FOR LEARNING:
(2) HOMEWORK STUDIOS - with structured - personal seating
ENRICHMENT STUDIO - for games - crafts and socialization
(2) TUTORING STUDIOS- for one to one assistance in grades K thru 11th
PRIVATE LIBRARY providng a tremendous selection of books for AR or just fun.
STUDY HALL STUDIO - where students can work on individual projects as needed.
PRIVATE MATH STUDIO - for one to one or group skills on math knowledge

The After School Enrichment Academy picks up with their bus at the following schools which is based on enrollment.
Lake Norman Elementary - Lake Shore Elementary - Mount Mourne Elementary - Woodland Heights Elementary - Pine Lake Preparatory
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM:
Our buses will pick up your student at their school and transport them to our academy after we take a rollcall to verify we have all students. Within this arrival they are checked in again daily to assure that everyone is present for the day. At this point they are given snack time and down time from their busy day at school, this is a very important part of their day as they can socialize, play, eat snack, and prepare for the work that will begin at 3:00pm. We have found that our approach to their homework helps them feel fullfilled and successful each day with a better understanding of what they have covered during the day with their teachers. Our staff takes their time, in ensuring that each child has a complete understanding of their assignment before they are allowed to leave our Homework studio for the day. All of their work must be completed, so they can proceed to the other areas of our academy.
** PLEASE NOTE: We are a structured academy, our main focus is homework assistance. All students must complete their homework daily at our academy or they will be given homework in a subject matter in which they need improvement or a subject in which their teacher or parent has given us a direction to follow. We are not structured to entertain students during our homework time, therefore please understand they will be given work each day. Thank you.
